Dibrugarh University has officially released the notification for the Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) 2025, inviting applications for Dibrugarh University PhD Admission 2025 for the academic session 2025-26. The written test (Phase I) will be held on 30th August 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS).
- Candidates with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree must have 75% marks to apply directly.
- Candidates with valid JRF-GATE score and B.E./B.Tech. are also eligible.
- Interdisciplinary research allowed under specific conditions.
💻 How to Apply for DURAT 2025
- Visit the official portal: www.dibru.ac.in
- Register using your name, mobile number, and password.
- Activate via OTP and log in.
- Fill out the online form and pay the application fee of ₹950/- via Debit/Credit/Net Banking.
- Download and print the Application Form, Payment Receipt, and Admit Card.
✍ Selection Process
- Phase I – Written Test (100 marks): 70% weightage
- Includes Research Methodology and Subject-Specific Questions (MCQ + Descriptive)
- Phase II – Viva Voce: 30% weightage
- Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (45% for reserved categories)
