Am I Eligible to Apply?

1. Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025)
- Unreserved Category: 18 to 40 years
- OBC/MOBC: 18 to 43 years
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 18 to 45 years

- Ex-Servicemen: 18 to 42 years
2. Educational Qualification
- For LP Schools: Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Special Education (RCI recognized) + LP ATET/CTET passed.
- For UP Schools: Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed. in Special Education (RCI recognized) + UP ATET/CTET passed.
3. Mandatory Requirements
- You must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- You must comply with the Assam Small Family Norms (not more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021).
- The language (Language-I or II) from your TET must match the medium of instruction of the school you apply to.
