Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026):
- Varies between 18 to 40 years depending on the post.
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must possess the prescribed educational and technical qualifications for the respective post from a recognized Board/University as of the last date of application.
- Those awaiting results are not eligible.
Medical Fitness:
- Candidates must meet the prescribed Indian Railway Medical Standards for the chosen post.
Selection Process
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) with negative marking (1/3rd mark deduction for each wrong answer)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination
Application Fee
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refunded after appearing in CBT)
- SC/ST/PwBD/Female/Minority/EBC/Ex-Servicemen: ₹250 (₹250 refunded after appearing in CBT)
